The Cayaba Care care model focuses on integration not replacement of patients’ primary Obstetric provider and reducing any barriers to the patient receiving the recommended care.

About the Job

Cayaba is seeking a Regional Medical Director. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission to serve low-income families and building innovative solutions to improve outcomes/patient experience. The candidate will also be board-certified OB-GYN or Family Medicine (with Obstetrics experience) and have clinical administrative experiences. This role will involve clinical practice (30 - 40%) in an out-patient setting in Philadelphia, building relationships with local OB-midwives, supporting Cayaba Partnership/marketing teams, and will play a role in building the clinical programs to meet patient needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Clinical practice (30 - 40%)
  • Clinical program development to incorporate home-based/telemedicine to delivery of maternity care
  • Meet with local OB-Midwives and clinical leaders to support partnership building
  • Manage members of multidisciplinary clinical team of NPs, LSW, LCSW, and RN managers
  • Support Cayaba Partnership team in communicating the Cayaba Care model to local OB/Midwives, identifying local needs as well as exploring potential growth opportunities.
  • Support Cayaba Marketing team to develop marketing collaterals for patients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Support Cayaba Product-Technology teams in developing technology solutions for patients and care teams.
  • Maintains up-to-date understanding of the healthcare industry including key customers and competitor organizations. Keeps informed about significant regulatory changes impacting Cayaba business.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other job duties as required

Who are you?

Education: MD, DO, Board-certified OB-GYN/Family Medicine, Active medical license (or willing to get licensed in PA, NJ. MBA a plus.

Experience:

  • 3 - 7 years experience in clinical practice post-completion of ACGME approved residency program experience
  • Clinical administrative experience a plus
  • Start-up experience and demonstrated experience in managing teams is a plus.
  • Intermediate capabilities using Google Workplace, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and MailChimp.
